Trinity or Trio? Unfortunately, this most important teaching is ignored by most Christians, who simply take for granted that they believe in the trinity, and yet, when questioned, don’t even understand it at all. Do you understand what the ‘trinity doctrine’ really teaches? Is your one God really three persons, a triune diety? Why is Scripture silent regarding the trinity concept? Why does scripture clearly state that the “one God” is “the Father” in 1 Corinthians 8:6 and many other scriptures?
1 Corinthians 8:6 (KJVS), “But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”
Why did Ellen White never mention the word “trinity” in all her writings. Why was the Seventh-day Adventist movement solidly non-trinitarian, until years after the death of Ellen White? Why did most of the early church pioneers reject the trinity concept of God? The trinity doctrine was not officially accepted, into the Seventh-day Adventist denomination’s statement of beliefs, until 1980. Are the 3 of the trinity teaching the same as the 3 in the heavenly Trio, mentioned by Ellen White? Is the Father/Son relationship the same? You owe it to yourself to find out.
